Class Size versus Teacher Quality -Which is more important?
This debate arises every couple of months on Twitter. Let's have a more in depth discussion about the issue and see what comes out of it. Personally, I'd love to participate in a discussion or debate on this topic.

Reducing Class Size -What Do We Know? (CEA)
Why not start with the Canadian Education Association link above? It supports both sides stating the importance of teacher quality ahead of class size while also stating: "The research confirms that class size reduction does provide the environment in which teachers can teach differently. In smaller classes, they interact with individual students more frequently and use a greater variety of instructional strategies. They can create more opportunities for higher-order co-construction of meaning by students. They also may spend out-of-classroom work time on more creative planning (and less on routine marking), and they may interact more frequently with other teachers and adults in support of classroom teaching.
The research on student outcomes and behaviour tends to support teachers’ beliefs that they can teach more competently and effectively in smaller classes. In smaller classes, students learn more academically and socially; they are more engaged and less disruptive."
